Challenge

Hydraulic cylinder bores can suffer from wear, corrosion and dimensional loss. Internal geometry limits access and requires stable energy delivery within a confined space.

Material & Process

The coating material and laser parameters are selected according to the base material, bore diameter, damaged area and required machining allowance. Powder-fed or wire-fed cladding can be evaluated for the application.

LZ Optical Configuration

A compact internal-bore processing head is combined with suitable beam shaping, material delivery, shielding gas, cooling and motion control. Working distance and optical layout are configured for the target bore.

Result

The process provides a controlled deposited layer for subsequent finishing while limiting unnecessary heat input. Final performance depends on the selected material system and validated process parameters.
